Univert Group aims to be transparent about payments. This policy explains our approach to refunds and cancellations for consultations and project engagements. Specific terms in a signed proposal apply to that engagement where they differ from the general terms below.
$300 Strategy Consultation
The $300 Strategy Consultation is a paid 60-minute working session. Because it reserves dedicated time and preparation, the fee is generally non-refundable once the consultation has taken place. If you need to reschedule, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate a new time.
Consultation credited toward a project
When you move forward with an approved Univert Group project, the $300 consultation fee may be credited toward that engagement under the applicable project terms. The credit applies to the project it relates to and is not redeemable for cash.
Deposits
Many engagements begin with a deposit to reserve time and start work. Deposits are applied toward the total project fee. Because a deposit secures scheduling and initial effort, it is non-refundable once work has begun, except as required by law or as stated in your proposal.
Milestone payments
Larger projects are typically billed in milestones. Each milestone payment covers work completed or scheduled for that phase. Milestone payments for work already performed are non-refundable, while future milestones not yet started may be adjusted if the engagement is cancelled.
Cancellation before work begins
If you cancel an engagement before work has begun, any amounts paid — less non-refundable deposits and any non-cancellable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf — will be refunded. Let us know as early as possible so we can settle things cleanly.
Cancellation after work begins
If you cancel after work has begun, you remain responsible for work performed and costs incurred up to the cancellation date. Any prepaid amounts covering work not yet performed may be refunded, less deposits and non-cancellable expenses.
Client delays
If a project is delayed because required feedback, materials, access, or approvals are outstanding, payments already made remain non-refundable for work completed, and milestone terms continue to apply. We will hold your project and resume promptly once we can proceed.
Abandoned projects
If an engagement becomes inactive because we are unable to obtain the responses or materials needed to continue — despite reasonable follow-up over an extended period — we may treat the project as abandoned. Payments for completed work are non-refundable, and any resumption may require rescheduling and updated terms.
Third-party expenses
Costs paid to third parties on your behalf — such as software subscriptions, licenses, stock assets, or advertising spend — are non-refundable once incurred, because those funds have already been committed to the provider.
Non-refundable completed work
Fees for services already performed and deliverables already provided are non-refundable. This reflects the time, expertise, and resources committed to producing that work.
Refund request process
To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, email support@univertgroup.com with your name, the engagement details, and the reason for your request. We will review it promptly, explain how this policy applies, and process any eligible refund to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
